A hit-and-run crash in Rialto left a 62-year-old woman dead Thursday, Jan. 26, police said. Police responded to a crash scene near 100 East Randall Avenue around 9 p.m., where Rialto resident Yolanda Vargas was found suffering 'significant injuries,' according to the Rialto Police Department. She was transported to a local hospital, where she died. The crash apparently occurred when a dark four-door sedan struck Vargas while traveling eastbound on Randall and while Vargas was walking in the road, police said.
