With Eloise Gómez Reyes not seeking a fourth term in the Assembly, another candidate has announced she will be seeking the now up-for-grabs 50th Assembly District. DeJonaé Shaw (Courtesy of DeJonaé Shaw) Earlier this month, Democrat DeJonaé Shaw announced she would be seeking the AD-50 seat in 2024 after Reyes announced she would instead be seeking the California State Senate's 29th District seat. Shaw made an unsuccessful bid for the Second District San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors in the June 7 primary.
